چکیده

In this study, we report the complete genome sequence of swinepox virus from a clinical sample naturally occurring infection in India. The sequencing was done on Nanopore MinION sequencer Oxford Technologies. Two new annotations were added to genome. Three genes found have frameshifts, which might be importance relation infection. When compared only other reported whole virus, obtained an isolate America 1999, our is 98.19% identical at nucleotide level. average amino acid identity viral proteins, based common 149 annotations, also 98.19%, demonstrating that these viruses are distinctly divergent. Owing fact infects swine, it could not entered until introduction swine 16th century Europe. both continents continued evolve independently. divergence identified here indicates Eurasian-lineage geographically distinct American-lineage virus.

The genome of swinepox virus.

Swinepox virus (SWPV), the sole member of the Suipoxvirus genus of the Poxviridae, is the etiologic agent of a worldwide disease specific for swine. Here we report the genomic sequence of SWPV. The 146-kbp SWPV genome consists of a central coding region bounded by identical 3.7-kbp inverted terminal repeats and contains 150 putative genes. Comparison of SWPV with chordopoxviruses reveals 146 co...

First Complete Genome Sequence of a Lineage III Peste des Petits Ruminants Virus

We report the first complete genome sequence of a lineage III peste des petits ruminants virus (KN5/2011) using RNA extracted from goat lung tissue collected in Kenya in 2011. The genome shows the highest nucleotide sequence identity with lineage II peste des petits ruminants viruses (PPRVs) (86.1 to 87.2%) and the lowest with lineage IV PPRVs (82.5 to 83.8%).

First Complete Genome Sequence of Arracacha virus A Isolated from a 38-Year-Old Sample from Peru

We present here the first complete genomic sequence of Arracacha virus A from a Peruvian arracacha sample collected in 1975 and compare it with the genomes of other nepoviruses. Its RNA1 and RNA2 both had greatest amino acid identities with those of the subgroup A nepovirus Melon mild mottle virus.

Complete Genomic Sequence of a Strain of Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus from Iran

Background and Aims: Tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV) is one of the most destructive viruses of tomato that leads to reduced tomato yield up to 100% in tropical and subtropical regions. In this study, the complete sequence of TYLCV isolate from Hormozgan province, Iran and its recombination evsent was determined. Methods: TYLCV infected tomato was collected from Hormozgan province. Total D...

First Complete Genome Sequence of Potato leafroll virus from Argentina

In this study, we determined for the first time the complete genomic sequence of an Argentinian isolate of Potato leafroll virus (PLRV), the type species of the genus Polerovirus The isolate sequenced came from a Solanum tuberosum plant that had been naturally infected with the virus. Isolate PLRV-AR had a nucleotide sequence identity between 94.4 and 97.3% with several known PLRV isolates worl...
